[ At that moment, Alice was on the balls of her feet, debating whether or not she should even strike again. She was still shaking, stressed and her green eyes boring into him, waiting. She just couldn't get a read on him, she couldn't predict his movements and that made it difficult. Those precious seconds of trying to evaluate him cost her.

But he moves quicker than anticipated, even before Alice is seconds from dodging out of the way. It's hard to dodge once her throat is being restricted. Yelping in surprise, her free hand tries to claw at whatever is holding her throat, the other still clutching on her knife, seconds before Alice drops it. Once she hears it clatter against the ground, another wave of panic goes through her. Even when Alice is being strangled, she's determined to put up a fight, gritting teeth and struggles to free herself.

She tries to speak, her voice coming out as a gasp for air. ]
