One of our missions dealt with saving baby dragons from the natives of Anwick. We thought we were doing good by saving the dragon population. When we were transported to the next world, we learned that they grew up only to destroy the town.
[She smiles sadly and hugs her arms.] And then Chantes, the next city we arrived in, we were amidst tension between humans and goblins. We had to relieve political tension between the races and figure out how to return the sun. We found out magic was involved in blocking out the sun, and... Let's just say things ended in bloodshed. We did all we could.
[Pearl sighs heavily. Chantes was a less than stellar experience for her. People being locked up, killed, having to kill people herself... As much as she would love to never do that again, she imagines she won't be able to avoid it under ALASTAIR.]
