defenceless: (rin flustered angry)

(( OOC: all set! tagging order is flexible, so no worries about keeping a set pattern! ))

Rin knows of the mystery of the cleared garden from speaking with Lightning, and she's been visiting it on and off throughout her normal rounds, at various times of the day. Presumably, if someone or something was attending to it, sound would ring out once or twice—but she never hears any clues that a person aside from another recruit wanders over here. The location isn't at all a pain to behold; it's zen-like, reminding her of the foundation for a magus' workshop on a remote island.

She's learned since her arrival to avoid traveling alone. Rin isn't alone now, when she approaches the garden to finally spot a feline figure perched on the stone bench at the very center of the arrangement, instantly falling hushed as she circles around to grab a better glimpse of the Dakal. She's different. Her coloration, her composure; her eerie blue eyes echo Koltira's, and it isn't hard to be taken back to the elf's anger at Nalanni's abuse.

The young magus already has a few assumptions developed about who this is. And so she turns to her entourage, likely either silently requests protection or, with flashing eyes, demands appropriate behavior on threat of death (you know who you are), proceeding after that to advance towards the stranger. Rin toes the line of the ornamental rocks containing the smooth sand, careful not to step into the Dakal's space unbidden or disturb the garden overmuch. She positions herself directly in front of the cat's line of sight and pipes up, calm but obvious with the near-desperation that comes from fighting to survive on a stranded island this long.

"May we have a word with you? ... Something tells me you have answers, here."
