[Ban picked the right spot to sit in, it seemed. He squinted blearily from his meager cover, looking to the shore as a ship struck land hard. He wasn't much of a sailor, but he was fairly sure that wasn't how one was meant to end an excursion. He watched as people left, leaning back in the shade.
