"This isn't your world." She points out as she raises herself up from the water again, her hair slicked down her cheeks and her chest. She stares at him intently, shifting closer in the water to watch his deflections and lies.
"How do you know that the flesh you consume isn't sentient? Have you met the animals that are put on the table here before they die?" Her gaze is unblinking. "I looked for them on that first day but couldn't find them. Where are they?"
