( it might have been a monster, but no part of the Huntsman particularly delights in seeing the creature fall. it was operating on instinct. it is a life extinguished that may not have had to be, if only ALASTAIR had better control of where their new captives landed.

that's a very sour thought, though, to share with a relative stranger. the wolf trots to his side and Graham forces his attention from the drop and on the objective, the new displaced. Brother sits at his side, head tilted and ears perked at their company, and mouth hanging open in a slightly weary pant from the exercise, though he seems less troubled and more curious. the wolf always seems more cheerful than his human companion. Graham spares him rub behind the ears as he watches their company. )
