[Honestly, when he first dashed over upon noticing a little girl alone in the midst of the attack, he hadn't even realized it was Sieglinde. He'd had several conversations with her over the communicators, but somehow this was the first time he'd properly seen her in person. Maybe she'd convinced some part of him that she was older than she actually was, but he hadn't expected her to be so... small, somehow.
Granted, Law himself is a bit imposing at 6'3", but even still, it doesn't seem like she has any way to defend herself.
