My kid and I found a cave. Looked like it was used as a hideout some time ago. Inside were a few shivs, some blankets. Dried meats, too, but no way to know what animal they came from.

bruce dons a thoughtful expression. the shivs were self-explanatory. the prison had them. the blankets, too. each prisoner might be dropped off with basic supplies. teaming up — or scavenging and stealing, one could gather a few. even the meat, with the amount of bones around, could be explained. ( though bruce prefers to continue to think that they're of whatever animals live in these walls. )
