[ Somehow, through some stroke of sheer bad luck, you've found yourself stuck up in a tree with Rhys, waiting until the rhino-beetle scurrying around below gets bored enough to leave. Rhys is holding on tight to the trunk with one hand and fanning himself with the other; honestly, he's sweating a bit just from the exertion it took to climb a tree. He is not an outdoor boy. If you didn't already know by his flabby noodle body and pale white basement-dweller skin.

The beetle doesn't seem to have anywhere else to be, and it's starting to look like they'll be here a while. He swings his feet a little and says, awkwardly, ] ^Sooooooo_oooo... Haha. This is awkward. Um. ...I spy? ...Twenty questions? Is it an animal, a vegetable, or a mineral???

[ He tries to get his hands on the computers as soon as he can — that's kind of his thing, he's kind of a big deal — but it proves difficult with a giant minotaur around. It doesn't take long to figure out he doesn't want to be here until it's dead, and he limps his way out to section twenty-one, covered in some of his own blood and a lot of other people's blood (it turns out when you hide behind people and they get chopped into a million pieces, those pieces get on you).

He leans against the wall, panting like he was actually fighting back; he wasn't, he just needs to do a lot more cardio. His nose is bleeding pretty badly, which is not cute, and his robotic arm is scuffed up and on the fritz, but for the most part, he's okay. As his cybernetic arm twitches involuntarily, he calls over the nearest person, about to ask for bandages or clean clothes or anything— but then his attention gets drawn down to his shoe. ]

Are you kidding me, he barfed acid on my shoe!

[ So maybe it's not the most urgent thing right now, but his boots were expensive and he liked them and now there's a hole in the toe. Don't mind all the blood, this is more important. ]

So. Not to be insensitive or anything, but. Say you have a dead guy's magitek. What do you... do with that. Throwing it away feels weird? But also keeping it feels weird.
