i. survived but she's feeling old ( arrival )
[While she doesn't immediately look petrified upon appearing in the labyrinth--there's such a thing as overacting, after all--Anthy is definitely a little younger than the ideal image of a rescue party. She also isn't exactly imbued with the sense of urgency one might expect from someone on a rescue mission; she seems much less interested in passing out food than examining the flora and fauna of the third ring of the labyrinth.]

[Honestly, she does need a minute to adjust. To go from a room full of a few people to a prison maze full of eighty recruits, plus prisoners and far too many guards--overwhelming is sort of an understatement. Better to tightly clasp her armful of food and watch the giant dung beetles roll their dung around with a carefully-controlled expression of interest.]

[The monkey on her shoulder is quick to tap her head if someone approaches, though, and she turns with a gentle smile.]

Hello. They sent me with food. Is that what you're looking for?
ii. 'cause she found all things cold ( portal room )
[Anthy doesn't participate much in solving the puzzles that will allow Audentes to return to Oska. They're out of her depth in a serious way. And she could fight, but . . . for what? There are plenty of people around who are better fighters than she is; she might as well leave them to it.]

[Still, she's fascinated by the minotaur. It's beautiful in a terrible way, something that was never meant to be. It isn't exactly right to empathize with the enemy, but it's not as though it asked to be here.]

[She stands still a few too seconds long. Typical. When the minotaur sees her, it doesn't regard her as a threat in the slightest, she can see that in its eyes in the half-second before it moves. It sees her as an obstacle. She half-shrugs, or perhaps tenses her shoulders, and then it's swiping at her with an open hand, lazy and not hard enough to break bones, but--she's tiny. She crumples anyway, and it moves past her without another thought.]

[Oh, well. It might work in her favor in the long run.]
