cutlery: (that's a moon run!)

[ It’s a strange situation all around, but not the worst one possible, he supposes. It’s not saying much, because he’s not happy to be here either. He can follow orders, do what ALASTAIR wishes of him, but ultimately, being pulled away from his master does concern him. Considering what had just happened, he feels that he needs to be with Ciel to prevent him from doing something stupid and rash, and yet he can’t help but feel that perhaps if he isn’t at his side and returns after a brief absence, it may work in his favor. That boy is dependent on him now, and Sebastian knows he hates that. So it would be all the more delicious for him to realize just how their bond tied them together.

That’s definitely just a justification for how he can be here at all, though. If there were a chance that it would be helpful for returning him to Ciel, he would probably kill everyone responsible. Really, he would prefer that, so it’s quite a shame that he has to play at being the docile butler so perfectly.

But obediently (for now), he’s in the maze searching for other recruits to distribute the supplies he was given. It’s an annoying task, because even if he can feel the souls lost in the maze, it is still a maze all the same. He only has direction to go on, and so he sticks to the walls and does his best to navigate towards whichever ones are closest. He’s only giving it vague attention, and that’s a slight mistake on his part. If he were being more discerning in what he was sensing, he’d realize that one of those souls was familiar to him.

Eventually, he finally gets close to one of those people, and he breathes out a small sigh of relief. It’s not for them, of course, but it’s for himself. It’s simply an expression of satisfaction at accomplishing a task. He starts to approach the young lady from behind, and he speaks gently: ]

My, I am glad to have found you. I thought I may not— [ run into anyone else, but he pauses as he comes close enough to identify just who he’s approached. His surprise is quite genuine, though he stops in his tracks rather than continue his approach. ]

Miss Sullivan?

[ It is of course no longer Master Sullivan. The last time Sieglinde had run into Sebastian, their circumstances at home were different. His master is without a doubt Ciel once again. ]
