[Sieglinde has always posited that they would not be able to retain their memories, gifted abilities, or even perhaps injuries if they were returned to their own worlds. After all, ALASTAIR claimed they would be returned to an appropriate timeline, and if something changed from one second to the next, how could that be explained? How could recruits from primitive or medieval worlds be sent back with all the knowledge this interplanetary organization possessed without irreversibly changing the fate of that world?

But Sebastian would be the first person she knew who had returned and then been recruited once more. She's afraid now that is what he means, because what music hall?, and his form of address has changed... and to match her growing realization, her face begins to pale.]
