[Jason can't believe his luck. He'd just been talking with Veronica about meeting with Imogen before the wedding and here she was filing paperwork. He doesn't envy her that, he remembers having to do similar tasks as part of being a praetor with Reyna. It wasn't fun, but he realizes this might be a good opportunity all the same.

Of course, since he's thinking about his conversation with Veronica the first thing he blurts out is:]
