I don't think it's necessarily weird. We spent a few months in another world and got wrapped up in the politics there. There wasn't exactly time to sit down and have get-to-know-you activities. But, I wouldn't say we didn't learn anything about each other...just not really the personal, backstory stuff.

Thinking of Veronica for instance he knew she was stubborn but still friendly. She was also passionate and could get flustered but wouldn't let other people see that they had riled her up if she could help it.]
