In response, the woman pulled a knife and lunged at Amado -- only to have Majima aim a headbutt to her forehead. She staggered back, at which point a brief chop to her wrist got her to drop the knife, but the other members of the gang were already closing in on them.
Luckily, it seemed that the non-gang members had some sense of self-preservation; they broke from the crowd to flee, head into the hospital, or out-and-out rubberneck to see who'd come out on top.
