INTRODUCTION. It's difficult to tell time without the presence of a sun or moon. There are no stars. The world is in constant blackness, the heavens barely visible from below and the only light artificial. It's been like this for months. Suddenly, those who expressed interest in observing the sun (or lack thereof) will all at once receive a text message on their ALASTAIR jewellery from 82736775: Get your shit and go look at the sky. Now's the time. If you need me, I'm around. It's time to get to work. OBSERVATION. Find the highest point you can and point the telescopes at the sky. Should be easy, right? Be mindful that there are still guards patrolling the city, looking for escaped prisoners, and some citizens would be very happy to tip them off to your presence. There are still animals in the forests to contend with, and there are still nosey citizens who may ask you too many questions. There are also your fellow ALASTAIR agents, who may not be very willing to share the spot they already staked out before you just showed up. People and animals aren't all you need to look out for, either. Seven hours after the observation starts, there is a lightning storm. It lasts for 30 minutes, bolts of electricity arcing across the sky. It might be a good idea to scurry down someplace lower when this happens -- you know what they say about lightning and height. 82736775 doesn't contact anyone after the initial text, so observers are free to give up whenever they decide they've been sitting out in the freezing dark for long enough. [ note: even if you didn't sign up, feel free to tag in! your character won't have a telescope but that doesn't mean they can't mingle. ]

[She's smiling, excited even as she closes her eyes and makes her wish. That they are able to help these people, and get back home to those waiting for them. That those who might prefer to stay to do so. Somehow.]

[He wouldn't want to have a discussion in a place like jail ever again. Plus, having dinner and meeting new people doesn't seem all that bad of an idea to him.]

That would be nice! I can ask him sometime.

[She's not sure how many people Graham himself knows, how many friends he has here. Sakura just knows she herself has formed a bond of sorts with him, and she's never averse to her friends meeting.]

I did! But stars are like when you blow out the birthday candles, right? You can't tell someone, or your wish won't come true.

[She thinks so. She's generally not quite up late enough to really stay out long to stargaze like this, exactly. Or when she is up, she's not supposed to be and is more preoccupied with whatever havoc the latest Clow Card is causing.]

I certainly hope your wish comes true then.

[He seems to be enjoying himself a great deal. It's not every day he can have casual conversations like this. Talking with Sakura makes him feel relaxed.]

[Everyone deserves some happiness, to have their wishes granted. Because Sakura isn't quite considering that some might wish for less idealistic and selfless things.

When he pets her, she'll instinctively reach up to attempt to straighten her hair. Though with wind, it's probably pointless.]

[He appreciates her consideration and kindness. Julius never experienced having normal conversations like this before when he was working with the military. Everything was always business. This is a pleasant change and one that he's willing to accept.]

Everyone deserves their wish too, if they saw it as well! A lot of people will be helping with this, so I'm sure lots of the others did too.

[There's business back home too, of a sort, regarding the Clow Cards, but it's not quite the same as military, or adult problems. Even if Sakura's seem all the larger and more upsetting, terrifying and potentially dangerous for all that she's only eleven.]
