THE HOME OF AGATHA BELROSE ( NOV 13 )
ALASTAIR has taken quite an interest in the missing — supposedly sacrificed — civilians. Chantes' guard force is lacking, to say the least, so instead, they call upon a few of their own to do the investigating. Clarke Griffin, Dean Winchester, Harry Potter, Kashuu Kiyomitsu, Kushina Anna, Phoenix Wright, and Riza Hawkeye have been assigned to investigate the home of one of the disappeared persons — one Agatha Belrose.
They are expected to report back what they learn to their fellow teammates, as well as give the abandoned house a thorough inspection. The address leads them into the Commoners' District, where they'll find a livable but unimpressive house. The paint is chipping a bit and the garden could use a good weeding, but for the most part, there's nothing too unsettling. At least, until they get inside.
[Here's how this log will work! This is a test run, so please be gentle. There is no tagging order, simply for the sake of getting things to move along without having to wait on anybody else. The group will be able to search various places, and will get replies from futurologists telling them whether or not they've found anything and what, exactly, it is. They're also free to wander around, have conversations, etc.] |

Should you try the door, true to their word, it's unlocked.]

This feels weird. Is this really okay?

Discomfort's nothing new, and the unease of being watched even less so. They've been handed their assignment - almost on a silver platter, compared to how everything else had gone - and there's really no point in dawdling around bickering amongst themselves.]
This is the only way we'll be able to find out what happened to her. If you're unwilling to go inside, you can stand outside and keep watch.
[Given a good number of them have already gone and broken into the royal castle, this seems pretty small fries in comparison.]

[Yeah, well he didn't really participate in that, so you'll forgive him if he's not quite as inured.]

The uneasiness of her companions are strong too. So, she'll try to reassure them-- ]
I'll protect everyone here.

Besides, where else are we gonna find any clues? This is probably the last place this Agatha lady was seen alive.
[ guess who's the first to try to kick down the door to this particular house? because checking to see if the door's locked or not is so overrated, you guys.
(and guess who hurt himself in the process).
so kicking doors is totally happening here. whether this yields any results in door opening or not remains to be seen, though. ]

But whatever gets the job done, even if it's lacking any sort of grace or subtlety. (She notes that for the future, in case they ever have to work together again.)]
They invented door handles for a reason.

[He checks the handle himself. This may result in the door opening AS Dean levels another kick.]

thanks, Phoenix! ]

[She doubts the rooms are big enough to handle all of them at once in any case. With a nod of her head towards Kashuu, she gestures towards the set of two doors.]
I'll search through the other room. [Whatever that may be.]

Reaching into her pocket, Anna takes out her three marbles, puts two on the table, where she'll leave them for now. The third she places it front of her eye. The colours of the world now visible to her eye, she rummages around,, peering through opened and unopened cabinets within reach and sight for anything out of the ordinary. ]

Perhaps if she had some help......
Momentarily leaving the scene before her, she pokes her head out of the doorway and calls out:]
I don't suppose anyone here's well-versed in herbs of any sort?
no subject
I may be able to recognize some.
[ if the herbs here, in this world, are anything similar to those on the ground she had used for healing. as it turns out the delinquents she’d been named responsible for got into their fair share of scrapes, go figure. ] I’m not an expert, but I might be able to tell what they're used for.

[Also, an undisclosed amount of time was probably spent checking out the clothes. Not that how fashionable she was had anything to do with her disappearance. Probably.]
[He snoops under pillows, checking under the covers, drawers, jewelry boxes, whatever appears to be a good hiding spot until he spots the very edge of the book.]
Weee~ll, what do we have here... ? [he murmurs to himself. A diary, maybe? It's pretty thick for that. She could just really like talking to herself. Either way, he fishes the book out from under the bed to get a closer look at it.]
