[ OPEN ] And now for something completely different-
CHARACTERS: Zenyatta and OPEN!!
DATE: Late November to early December
WARNINGS: None, hopefully.
SUMMARY: So there's violence, fighting, drama all over the place, and Zenyatta just wants to chill and help people find their chill.
[To those who mentioned to Zenyatta they were interested in meditating, he sends out a message to each individual to let them know the location he has taken to for practice. For those he did not speak to, well... It was a public post, available for all to see. Or, perhaps one notices the floating robot monk, and his journey in the wee hours of the morning, and take to following him or asking him where he's going. His answer, in this case, will be "to find peace of mind."
The spot he has taken to is on the edges of town, in the opposite direction of the fracking mines and Deemers camp, to avoid contact and overall distraction brought on by the town itself, and the ever encroaching dangers brought on by the Taraxa.
It is along a path decently high enough up that one can look out over the completely uninhabited parts of Q-65. Below lies the scrublands, and further still lies a small pine forest that lines the edge of a mountain that the Q-65 equivalent of a sun begins to peek out over.
Zenyatta will be there from dawn until dusk, leaving only at night when the temperature begins to drop. For the time he is there though, he hovers just a few inches off the ground, legs crossed and arms spread, with his index fingers touching. He is completely silent with his head bowed, except for the chiming sounds of his orbs circling him, and giving off a light 'ding' as they rise and fall a few inches during their orbit.
Should one choose to join him, they are allowed to, of course. This is what he had hoped for, when he had extended the invitation. And if those who join also have no idea where to start, he would happily give any instruction needed. ]

Zenyatta is slow to respond, having been doing this for a few hours now, his mind is still focused in his meditation. Eventually though, he wakes, and raises his head. The orbs stop their sounds, and he looks up to the other.]
I am fine, Saitama. I was meditating.
no subject
Oh, good. 'Cause I have no idea where your restart button is.
no subject
[Like he could LOSE EVERYTHING, or maybe nothing, he doesn't know.]
no subject
That's cool. If you ever freeze I can just take you in somewhere.
no subject
But it is kind of you to offer that. Thank you.
[ A pause. ]
... Are you busy at the moment?
[ You know, since... your clothes. ]
no subject
[He replies, strolling around, glancing at the view, glancing at the ground, none of it striking him particularly. Then, faces him at his question.]
No, was heading back to my tent. Why?
no subject
[ Of course he meant "computer freeze..." ]
I was wondering if you would like to join me in meditation.
no subject
[Maybe not the reply Zenyatta expected.]
no subject
You look like you need it.

no subject
There is disquiet in your soul.
no subject
Finally, he turns to him, one arm akimbo, affecting sarcasm.]
Funny, didn't know you came with a soul radar option.
no subject
[ His tone sounds serious, but... ]

no subject
But yes.
no subject
[He turns to look back out at the sky, flapping one hand in the air dismissively.]
Besides, not even sure I have a soul.
[His choice of words are telling. Does he believe in souls in general or just in himself.]
no subject
Oh?
Perhaps I was wrong. Would you allow me to double check?
no subject
Uh, sure...?
no subject
And then lobs it at Saitama.
If Saitama catches it, he'll find despite it's speed, there was no intent on it to actually hit him. Instead, a golden glow comes from it, and it feels much lighter than a ball made of metal should feel.
If he misses, well, it gets reeeeal close to his head... and then hovers around him, much like it had been doing with Zenyatta, glowing and attached to him with a string of light.
Regardless of the reaction, one thing stays the same: it will be a wonderful golden, and somehow will give a feeling of warmth.]

But then it starts hovering near him, making one rotation then getting in very close to his face, casting such a lovely sheen on his bald head. He stares at it cross-eyed and reaches up to tap under it with the tip of a finger.
For once, he seems a bit enchanted.]
Ah...what's this about?
no subject
[ Zenyatta replies, sounding satisfied enough that Saitama seemed to just accept it. He returns his gaze to the scene before them.]
It would not have been able to connect to you, should you have not had a soul.
no subject
[He admits, at least his nose feels warmer. He rubs at it, thinking it might start running. He keeps poking and tapping it as it rotates.]
But are you sure about it connecting without a soul? You're a robot, right, not a cyborg?
[How speciescist. But he says it with no animosity, it just seems odd a man-made thing could have something like a living soul.]
no subject
[ He's not offended. He knows Saitama doesn't mean any harm by it. He has had the same sort of question said to him, with much more scorn and hate. ]
I am a robot with a soul. Do you believe me?
