Yet not many would survive it, as space is a vacuum in a way. There is no air for us to breathe there. It is a shame, but without the preparations... it would all be for naught.

It's a good thing I'm content with my lot here, then. I would have to try and figure it out, myself.

[he smirks, whipping his fan out with his free hand and giving her a mischevious look over the top of it.] I'll be staying with Nyuu-san as her devoted guardian, and working in the hospital. I'll be as mysterious and talented virologist from overseas, here to help find a cure.

[he's very into this. so dramatic.]

[ Or she'll have to follow him into space to tell him off?! Though she blinks when he pulls out the fan. ] Nyuu? I see... that is quite useful. I will be attending the University as a medical student for similar reasoning.

I noticed there aren't many people who can claim knowledge of modern medicine and are old enough to put on a convincing show, so I had to take it upon myself. We'll need people there if we want to stay ahead of new developments.

[he taps the fan against his chin.] I can always make a case about you having an internship to keep you nearby.

You are correct about that... while I have knowledge of modern medicine, I look my age. [ or some rude people would say younger (nottalking) ]

Though if it comes to it, I would appreciate that. I could visit you under the pretense that I am studying your works, if that would make it easier? I do plan to attend as though it is my fifth year of medicine, so it is not too far fetched.

[he waves a hand, hoping to brush off any concerns she might have about how difficult it might be.] I'm sure I can work something out. I'm adept at getting people to believe what I say when I want them to.

[as if anyone doesn't already know what a deceitful giant ham he is.] We can only do so much and maintain our cover. I'll try to make it easier on everyone.

[that's the best he can do in terms of teamwork. it's either do everything himself or set people to their tasks and hope it all works out. if he's working right in the thick of it, at least he feels he has a better control over the flow of information and that makes him feel more secure already.]

I am going to try and make my ID say I'm 21 at least... that may make things easier. Otherwise, I am not certain they would allow me to enter the University so far into a course.

[he looks askance at her, brow furrowing, though hidden by the shadows of his hat. the truth is the second he read the documentation on the virus, he suspected it was introduced into patient zero and then spread. it wouldn't be the first time he's seen such a thing.]

I think it's something we should consider when we're doing our research, but we need to approach all angles and narrow it down from there. Try to hope for the best, Sonia-san.

[otherwise they might start believing Zymandis orchestrated this whole thing and make things even more complicated. he can just see the rampant paranoia now.]

[ She doesn't even mean Zymandis, but her own situation at home had Junko at the route--someone who began the process, got the ball rolling. She's read enough about serial killers as well to know that human psychology is not exactly stable either. Some people just desire to watch the world burn. ]

Please, do not worry. I will be taking a more scientic approach. There are others who will be able to look into CEOs and the government. I will be more mindful of what I say... but I understand that you will have considered that option already as well.
