Well... when I arrived I had nothing but my friend's hamsters with me, so it was quite useful when I received the gun.

Hamsters?

[ he... may be jealous of that, too. ]

[ Vaughn.... ]

Of course! [ She lights up at the mention of them. ] They are currently resting in my room, would you like to go meet them?

[ what... he's an adult. ]

Uh... [ he stops and pretends to think about this for a few seconds. ] Yes?

[ you had him at 'hamsters.' ]

[ She's already lifting her mug to take with her. ]

[ things he didn't expect to happen today: coming back to Oska after a year, and also hamsters. ]

[ She indicates towards the hall, already starting to walk on ahead. If anything, she's proud of them even if they aren't really hers. She's been trying to keep up Gundham's work in the meantime though. ]

No problem! No journey is too long for hamsters.

[ what the fuck is he even saying anymore. ]

[ Something v. precious! Though she will start telling him things about said hamsters on the way. She talks about their origin, what they can do and how close she's got to them in the time spent here. He should be able to hear the fondness she has for them in her tone of voice. Not only for them though, but also for this mysterious classmate of hers of whom they belong to.

She's stepping up to the third level of steps when she exclaims: ]

They would keep warm and hidden under his scarf, then poof! Pop out! It is rather adorable to see.

[ Excitement as its finest, and also a bit ??? probably. ]

Under a scarf? Oh, my god. That's adorable.

[ not even close to ??? for him. if he had a pet, he'd gush about them to anyone who would listen. ]

Yes! [ She's definitely bragging about her awesome friend as well as the hamsters here though. ] He takes very good care of them, so they are able to do many things that other hamsters cannot, too.

[ She leads him to her door then, still rambling on about how they can push buttons for her, open doors and clean-- ]

[ The door opens, and straight across from it is her bed ofc, with one fat orange hamster lying stretched out and snoozing, a white and beige one curled up next to it. ]

Oh, no.

[ he crosses the room immediately, leaning down to get a better look at the delightful little balls of fluff, grinning. ]

Look at them! They're so cute.

[assent]

[ Cham-P (the fat orange one who is sleeping) doesn't pay him any mind. Clearly, it wants more sleep. San-D, on the other hand, lifts up its head to peek at him. ]

They are. [ Sonia wastes no time in closing the door behind them and walking over as well. She holds out her hand for San-D, smiling as it rushes forward to be lifted up. Sonia then holds out her hand, hamster sitting without fear, to introduce them. ]

Vaughn, this is San-D. San-D, this is Vaughn.

[ Like ... they are both people I guess........ ]

[moneyman]

San-D, huh? [ he sketches a formal bow before the hamster. it's not embarrassing at all. ] Nice to meet you. [ he then holds out a hand tentatively, an expectant smile on his face. ] Can I hold him? Er, her? Whichever?

Yes. [ It isn't embarrassing in her eyes anyway, it's endearing. San-D squeaks at him, then jumps (yes, jumps) across to his hand. The hamster then holds out its paws like its expecting something.

It takes Sonia a moment before she realises, darting across to get the bag of food from the side to hand over a sunflower seed. ]

You can feed them if you would like.

[ holy shit. did that just happen? is this how hamsters work? he takes the seed happily, beaming at San-D, and offers it to him (??). ]

Okay, I think I want a hamster now.

no i'm just shameful....

[ This is not how normal hamsters work, that's for sure. ]

Um... most would not be able to act this way, these were well trained.

[ She reaches out to rub the top of San-D's head, indicating Vaughn can do it after. ]

My friend... is quite spectacular at raising animals.

[moneyman]

Oh.

[ he can't even be disappointed that hamsters aren't just this naturally talented, because the one in his hand is clearly the most awesome hamster in the universe.

...no offense to the fat one over there, of course. you're awesome, too, fatty. probably. ]

No kidding. [ he wastes no time taking his turn to gently pet San-D's head. ] I don't know much about hamsters, but this had to have taken awhile, right? Your friend must be really patient.

[assent]

[ To be honest, when it isn't sleepy Cham-P is probably even more talented but there we go. It's the middle of the day, hamsters are generally nocturnal, that's the way things roll. ]

I am not even sure if it did. I recall him bringing a bear to class once and he taught it poses. [ Her hands clasped together. ] It is why he was recruited to Hope's Peak, after all. Only the most talented are allowed to study there and he is one of a kind.

[ ??? ok Sonia ]

[moneyman]

[ whoa, whoa, whoa. hold up. he turns to stare at her, somewhere between horrified and amazed.

mostly amazed, because he's weird. ]

...Wait, he brought a bear to class?

[ And in return she only smiles more widely, proudly, even. ]

That is correct! As I have said, he is incredibly talented.
