EVENT ★ (ABOUT) 28 DAYS LATER
GENERAL HOSPITAL ![]() ON THE INSIDE ![]() Inside the hospital, it's just as busy -- gurneys line the halls, filled with moaning, scared patients. How many of them have the Bristol Virus? How many of them have just been injured in the unrest? It's impossible to tell, so be careful as you move through the halls. One of those grasping hands just might belong to someone who is very hungry. Be careful while you look through the hospital -- the staff are busy and preoccupied, but they’re not blind. If you are caught somewhere you shouldn’t be, you’ll find yourself escorted from the premises, or worse -- thrown in jail. PLACES TO SEARCH: MATERNITY. There are no pregnant women to be found here, and for good reason: the maternity wing has been converted to a treatment center for known Bristol Virus carriers. Biohazard suits hang near the entrance, and the doors are sealed by makeshift plastic shielding to prevent the virus from spreading airborne. Patients are strapped to their beds for their safety as well as for the safety of the staff, and seem to be heavily sedated. But be careful -- you never know when it’ll wear off.Other hospital areas include: cafeteria, doctors’ mess, inpatient ward, pharmacy, surgery, supply warehouse (entrance outside), etc. If you're not the investigative type, it might be a good idea to cause a scene and distract the staff from your teammates' snooping. While you're here, it might be a good idea to gather fluid samples from patients known to be infected. Their sedated state will make it easy (until, of course, the sedatives wear off -- hopefully not while you're in the middle of collecting a sample!) and not only will it help the efforts in finding a vaccine, it may also help your fellow recruits find a cure. Especially now that some of your number are starting to feel the effects of the virus themselves. FINDING CLUES This post, we will be holding an RNG to decide who receives clues. We have a maximum of five clues to go around, one per hospital area, so you'll have better chances if you team up! Please see this comment to sign up. We will be closing clue sign-ups after 48 hours, after which we will notify the RNG winners of their results. Those who do not hear back may assume they have not found anything of interest. OOC NOTES Because this log is being posted late in the month, threads are eligible for February or March AC, but not both. Beginning this month, we are also allowing AC threads to be eligible for AC Bonus Bank. Please remember that participation in the HMD is mandatory to pass AC this month! Please fill out your HMD comment by 28 February 23:59 UTC. REMINDER: activity and hiatus changes go into effect beginning this AC. Please review the changes thoroughly! Questions about Woodhurst can be submitted to this thread. Questions about the game in general should be directed to the FAQ. You may submit mission ideas or player plots at any time, and don't forget the Bounty Board! |

CLUE RNG
There are a maximum of five clues, so you may want to group up to improve your chances. You may only search one area. Sign-ups are due 26 February 23:59 UTC.

because he's like that. Along with him, Aang will be pretending to be his patient, along with his nurse Jhin. While Lilith is providing a distraction, T.F. will be heading into the offices to be searching for clues with Jhin and Aang.Specifically, I think they will be searching for paperwork and looking into the computers. T.F. will largely be looking for anything that might be locked up, or someone trying to conceal something.

Once in the morgue, they'll split up to cover the area - half of them looking at bodies (primarily infected, both if they have time) and the other looking for paperwork concerning the infection. If there's anything interesting in the paper work, Sonia will instruct them to photograph it rather than trying to just steal it (yay photo app!). Someone is Responsible.

Zenyatta | OTA
[He's here to help, but not in the way most of ALASTAIR is. Deciding against the more "normal" clothes he typically wore around town, he's back to wearing his ratty monk pants, and a sash across his chest to cover up a little bit more. There are plenty of injured and sick people around, and what people seem to need (aside from a cure, and healing) is guidance. Someone they can talk to, someone to help them not freak out so much about what seems like the end of the world.
He listens, and offers advice. He offers prayers, for those who ask him for them. He keeps minimal contact, as that's what's safest for everyone, but if someone needs a hug of reassurance, well... as long as a nurse doesn't catch it happen.
Overall, he's doing what he can, and hoping it helps. ]
B. Amongst the vending machines and year-old magazines
[ Normally, he feels like he could have gone hours without eating before. He knows humans usually eat every few hours, ranging from 3-6 hours in between meals, but he's so hungry as of late. Maybe he's been ignoring his hunger, and it's suddenly greater than it was before?
So here he is at the Cafeteria, a tray full of awful hospital food. Well, it's not awful, it's just... not good. And kind of weird. A very thin soup, a bread roll, a cup of jello, some mashed potatoes, some broccoli, and some kind of ... unknown meat with gravy on it. Regardless of how generally unappealing the food is, Zenyatta's having no trouble eating it. Maybe even with gusto.
So hey, if you're sitting nearby and hardly touching yours, and he's practically done with his own, he might glance over a few times at your tray. ]
Hello, I... could not help but notice, you were not eating?
C. WILDCARD
[ IDK HIT ME UP ]
B
Even the coffee is bad.
[Muttered under her breath even as she takes another sip from the styrofoam cup beside her. She doesn't noticed Zenyatta nearby until he's speaking, her gaze jumping from her food to him then down to his tray.]
Oh. [Back down to her food. She grimaces and shoves the tray over towards him.] Here, you want it?

Ban | Open
When it came to faking injuries, Ban was anything but an expert. Realizing that he was immortal was the first problem when it came to this and the idea of trying to dress it up to look real seemed like a bad idea since he was no good with paints and effects. Coming to a fine conclusion after remembering he lived in a cell with stakes hammered through his limbs for half a decade, Ban decided to go with a very serious injury that he could, undeniably, receive and not have to explain all that much. He couldn't exactly heal through a lead pipe if it was crammed in his shoulder.
Sitting down in the emergency room waiting room, Ban ignored stares from a handful of people hoping to be seen for far more superficial and less life-threatening emergencies. Anyone with real issues had already been occupying surgery tables and the fact that Ban wasn't bleeding everywhere put him slightly behind the list of people asking to be seen. Ban, to boot, hadn't even asked to talk to a nurse. He simply positioned himself in the room by the door, shifted himself to the pipe through his torso didn't bang against the wall behind him and waited. If there was an outbreak from those zombies, he was planning on being close to reduce the damage.
One young man had maintained his fixed stare at Ban, eventually murmuring the words just close enough to be heard, "Doesn't that hurt...?"
Ban, poking the rod, offered a shrug and feigned an exhausted smile, "I'm kind of gettin' used to it."
-
II
Introduced to fast food, Ban had thought already that Woodhurst was host to some of the worst food he'd ever encountered. Somehow, he thought it couldn't get worse until he was introduced to the half-heartedly prepared food in the hospital cafeteria. He wondered how food could taste stale after being freshly made and how one could justify watering down tomato soup. The coffee, tasting much the same as any coffee he had ever drunk, was one of the only things he felt like stomaching while he was there.
Of course, the bit with the rod through his shoulder only lasted so long. Once he was scheduled for surgery, Ban snuck out and conjured a new shirt and hat, finding it was even easier to blend in when nurses and doctors cared more about patients that stuck around for care rather than the ones who ran off. To boot, the cafeteria was easier to sit in and no one in the world cared if he sat there all day. The cafeteria wasn't too close to the emergency room but there were directions posted all over the place--so, he figured he'd find it easily again if something went wrong.
Even so, it was boring. He found himself dozing at his little booth after a little time, slumped in his booth.
ii;
(Of course, the cafeteria also means having to be prepared to not touch any of the food served there; how was it that someone hadn't already banned the food from being served? Ugh.)
Waiting around is boring, though, which is why when she spots a familiar face, she heads to the booth he's sitting in (well, "sitting" as a loose definition in this case) and plops down across from him, sliding a granola bar over the table.
"It's not much, but at least it's not from the cafeteria. Can you imagine, they can't even serve good granola bars!"

lance knew that around 2:45 PM on saturdays, joyce and tammy would take a late lunch break together. that left the station under the care and watch of jesse, who had only just moved to woodhurst eight months ago, and is already in his sixth month of regret about it. once he gets started, he can pretty much rant on and on for hours, though right now lance only needs him to talk for abooooout eight or ten minutes. roughly the amount of time it'll take keith to slip past them and get to one of the computers. hopefully with the main eyes distracted, the general flurry of activity and bustle of the station can provide enough of a cover.
things were working out pretty well, too ("don't even get me started on the food around here," gripes jesse, "can you say b-l-a-n-d?"), right up until one of the policemen posted by the main entrance notices keith, who is definitely not in scrubs, and definitely looks a little too young to be standing behind the counter like he is. lance feels his panic spike as the policeman approaches, gesturing to get keith's attention. ]

( Olivia )
Yet the riots become unavoidable. Just blocks from the hospital, the street fills with angry protesters and slippery opportunists. The son of Peleus, keeping to the fringes and minding the samples tucked into his jacket pocket, swiftly strides past the sweltering crowd. But then his eye is caught by a familar figure amid the chaos, and there is she who once soothed the storms that oft rise in his heart.
The famous runner's footsteps falter. He has gone whole days forgetting her - her fair features, her chiming voice, her scent, her every movement, all that in which he once indulged, all that on which he was never sated. When he does remember her, the memories are no longer shadowed by the sharp ache that once seized his heart; instead there lingers a dullness, a nothingness, which like the quiet in a room after everyone has left is recognizable only by the absence of that which came before.
When they had crossed paths fleetingly some weeks before, without fanfare, without so much as a word shared between them, he had been startled to see how much like a stranger she looked. Just as when one returns to a place in which they have not been in a great long while, and he no longer recognizes it as the place it once was, so too does he struggle to recognize in Olivia the woman he once so fiercely loved. It is not that the changes to the landscape are so stark that all familiarity is shed: rather, the changes are so subtle that he cannot place whence comes this sense of being in a foreign land.
Achilles approaches, as he knows he ought not have done that night he saw her on the balcony. This time, however, no such love makes heavy his heart, as only the stubborn dregs remain, the rest strained from him by time, by will, and by a love more full.]
It is not safe out here in the streets-- [Dear Olivia. The epithet lingers upon his tongue, but it is not so irresistible as it once was.] You ought to stay inside.

he should probably be more concerned about… everything happening, really, but there's only one thing he wants to take care of right now. and it may be a coincidence that he ends up in front of the hospital, and that there are so many other alastair "volunteers" there, but it's good for mercury. ]
Hey.
[ he raises his eyebrows at anybody who's even remotely near the entrance to the hospital. his back is against the wall by the door, and his arms are folded against his chest.
he isn't trying to pick anybody up, i swear… ]

[Anyway, Maya's all geared up to make a huge distraction at the hospital -- all part of the plan, of course -- and she's heading over there, ready to put her nature ridiculousness to use.]

a. OTA: LOVE WAR LIFE PAIN EVERYTHING'S THE SAME TO ME
[ By this point working (and sometimes even sleeping) at the hospital has become a living nightmare. All the departments seem to be running around like headless chickens and the only reason Sonia is out of the lab is so she can grab a coffee from the machine in the waiting area. She has to side step some people sitting on the benches, some on the floor to get there, sliding in the money and resting her head against the machine while she waits.
She only pulls away when the sound of the machine whirring out coffee stops, lifting the cup out and pressing down a lid.
It's when she sees someone who seems to stand out or seems generally as though they're looking for something or someone that she stops herself from walking back to the lab. ]
...Are you looking for someone?
b. OTA: I GAVE MY ALL
[ Anyone who is a friend or who heard Urahara's note back on the network before about taking samples (or really, just anyone who drops by) for testing will be asked if Sonia can get a sample of their blood. The syringes are clean, so there's no worry about infection (actually, she's double checked by putting brand new needles through sterilation over again just in case) but it'll help them in the long run. This goes for those who are non-infected, or infected. Also for those with "special abilities".
They're literally trying anything at this point. ]
Sorry, could you come through here? It is a little more private.
c. CLOSED: AND I HAVE THESE LUNGS ( Urahara )
[ It's been nagging at her for a decent part of the night, especially when after Haise did make her something to try and sate her hunger she'd smiled and said it was fine but... the hunger hadn't gone down that much. She had still been a little hungry, like it wasn't the right thing or it wasn't enough.
It's hard to tell if it's just sleep deprivation that makes her feel like that either.
Rather to be safe, rather than sorry, she approaches Urahara at the lab with an empty syringe with tube attached, the tourniquet in her other hand. ]
Do you have a moment, please?
d. CLOSED: 'COS I JUST FEEL SO TIRED ( Arima )
[ It's later than she intended to be when she packs up for the night. As Giovanni and Haise are both busy, and Lance or anyone else who has offered to take her back to her apartment tonight isn't available, the duty has fallen onto Arima to help her get through the mess that the streets have become. Hopefully they won't have any problems, but she doesn't really want to chance it on her own.
When she makes it out of the lab, bag over her shoulder, she gives Arima a small wave. By this point she's already exhausted. Her mentality is cracking at the edges, no matter how hard she's trying to keep herself pieced together. ]
Sorry if I kept you waiting for too long.
b.
[Although he's not overly thrilled with the concept of needles, he is trying to be a little more committed to assisting in the mission. If that means they need some blood, so be it.
He does need to remember, distinctly, that no one in Audentes will abuse this, after all.
As they step away to a more private area, he's shrugging off his coat.]
Not gettin' too worn out by the state of affairs, I hope?

Twisted Fate

He can make excuses to himself, say that the way he sees it no one in Zymandis will share based on their previous behavior. They won't fold.
In his heart, he knows exactly why he'd rather just see them dead and done with. Too many jobs in Zaun remain in his mind, and one in particular.
But he takes it better than, say, a surly Death Knight who inclined toward the negative, anyway. So there's that. No one really gave Fate grief, but Koltira certainly had no luxury, so it's not surprising to find him in a mood.]

Mettaton | OTA
[This was a completely ludicrous plan.
It didn't start that way, of course. It actually started fairly reasonable. Using the original plan he'd formed with Chihiro, he'd take the character of a worried guardian with a lost child and distract the staff while said lost child and two members of "security" "searched" for her among the nurses' files. Unlike doctors, nurses aren't restricted to one department and handle EVERY patient! If they were caught snooping around, they had a widely known excuse: they were looking for a lost little girl! Oh look! They found her!
It was flawless! It was ingenious!
...until they arrived at the hospital and saw where, exactly, the nurses' station was. That is, to say: completely out in the open.
Surrounded entirely by staff and patients, with absolutely no cover to hide their snooping.
That's where the plan went from "ingenious" to "why". Why, in his panicked mind, did Mettaton's thought-process go from "I need to be MORE of a distraction," to "I need to stage a medical emergency," to "I need to pretend a light burst above my head and the resulting electric shock killed me." Crafty quick thinking in its own right, yes! His magic mostly revolves around electricity and he certainly played the part with a thundering CRACK and a piercing wail, not to mention his lack of pulse for when the staff worriedly checked on this poor, collapsed human man... But why did that work? It was as if some karmic god looked upon their actions and amusedly proclaimed "...sure, I'll allow it." And even then, after his group had scattered away unnoticed by the staff, why was his first instinct to hurriedly come back alive, loudly proclaim to not have insurance, and sprint out of the ward?
Honestly, why that part worked isn't so much of a question. The staff were far too shocked by his springing back to life that they didn't manage much of anything aside from horrified gasps and strained shouting for him to come back.
That brings us to now and here. After hurriedly rushing out of the hospital entrance, Mettaton finds some nice, sturdy steps and slumps himself onto them. One look at his cloaked form shows an interesting criss-cross of red lines (veins?) running all along his arms from where he'd purposefully electrocuted himself. It's... strangely breathtaking, really. Aside from the slight pain in his core, he doesn't feel that injured. Is this how humans respond to a hearty zap...?
Curious, he pulls himself up and wanders over to the hospital's window, hoping to catch a glimpse of himself in its reflection.
His hair is frayed and sticking in every which direction. Those same red lines are marring the right side of his face in long, ugly scars.
He lets out the loudest, ugliest gasp known to man.]
II - network - video
[He KNOWS he's supposed to be regrouping with Keats, Undyne, and Chihiro. And he WILL! They had plans, after all, and Mettaton didn't want Chichi in that dangerous hospital any longer than it took for them to find the information they were after.
But first.
His hair is back to covering the right side of his face, though it looks no less frayed than it did a few minutes ago. He smiles at the camera, weary but obviously fine. Nothing to see here!!]
Now. I know some of you had more important things to pilfer, like... Say, food or water, but. [Cough.] None of you happened to grab a bit of concealer, did you?

(or maybe Nami is just a scaredy-cat, that could be an option, too.)
as she gets ready to round a corner, she hears a loud noise, followed by a scream — which in turn makes her scream. ]
D- don't come any closer!! I'm armed!
[ with a lightning-charged clima-tact, yes, she really hopes it looks like a taser. ]

kaz brekker | closed to team crows
so, a team: olivia and nami create an excellent distraction, while Kaz, Jesper, Wylan and Sonia execute the main part of the plan. Kaz and Sonia are dressed as doctors (Kaz still has gloves on, of course, make no mistake), while Wylan is a nurse and Jesper their patient.
as they make it through the upper floors, heading towards the basement, they're not bothered in the chaos -- at least not by the staff, those grabbing hands are another issue altogether. but kaz isn't sure how long that'll last once they get down to the next level.
guess they can talk in the meantime.
he turns to sonia:]
How long has it been like this?
hello i am here o/
A while.
[ She leads them towards the end of the corridor, aiming for the steps. ]
A few weeks, at least. It was already hectic when I arrived here.

OPEN | and what a beautiful machine they have provided (BOUNTY BOARD)
She's back to the chair she and Mettaton found- the book was claimed by her partner in crime the last time they were here- but the rest of it still remains. She sweeps her light over the scene, wondering if the person who owns this chair will return shortly. Imagine! She could catch them singlehandedly! Just think of the praise she'll get. She can see it now- oh Peridot, we see now that we're all not worthy to bask in your intelligence. here! we've decided to make you the leader of Audentes.
She snickers in delight and plops down on the folding chair. It's too easy, really. All she has to do is lie and wait and...
She hears footsteps and she jolts upright in her chair, gasping. She reigns in her apprehension and fear and tries to sound menacing, though the hitch in her voice gives the truth away.] ...Is that you, Percy?

naruto uzumaki | ota!
[ He and his team have successfully infiltrated the building and located their intended office for searching, and now it's Naruto Uzumaki's time to shine! Dressed in what can only be described as a slightly comical and mildly offensive caricature of a nurses outfit - as in, it's almost believable aside from the fact that it includes skin tight pants and a slightly undone V-neck blouse instead of the usual constricted tunic, to make way for the voluptuous breasts squeezed inside it - Naruto saunters around the mouth of the hallway he's guarding, blowing kisses to waiting patients, cooing at doctors and generally doing an excellent job at serving his purpose as a distraction.
However when someone happens to ask where a certain department is, with a name he can't even remember after just hearing it let alone enough to repeat it, the facade slips and Naruto grumbles a lost sounding ] Uhhh- [ that had none of the light, airy qualities it had previously, and instead has all the qualities of a teenage boy. But.. this is the body of a woman, right? ]
Uuuhh....
II.
[ Naruto has learnt his lesson about food in this world. It very rarely agrees with him. In his homeworld he's used to salty broth and fresh ingredients, handmade meals that make everything seem a little less difficult when they sit warm and comfortable in his belly. The soggy, sweet bread and the literal slab of rubbery meat he receives for the little money he has does not come even a fraction of the way close to giving him that homely feeling, so he immediately resorts to abandon it..
But ggghh, he's so hungry. His stomach is growling so loudly it's almost audible over the general racket in the cafeteria.. so very, very gingerly, he picks up the meat between two fingers and takes a tentative bite.
He hears a faint squish sound when his teeth meet the texture and experiences a push-back like he's trying to gnaw his way through leather. He slaps the thing back on the table with a full body shiver and can already feel a budding nightmare brewing, about all food tasting like the bottom of a shoe for the rest of his life. He's never experienced anything more frightening. ]
Whhyyy... I'm so hungry.... [ He whines, to noone in particular. ]
II b.
[ It's only after a little lamenting that his eyes spot the box in the corner, with brightly coloured packets and wrappers tucked neatly in rows inside, held up by the coiled springs, with flashing numbers and inviting scrolling text on the number pad.
It's all very well, but the instructions are in English and though he gives it a good try, he can't understand why every coin he puts into the slot comes skittering back out again into the little flap underneath the keypad. It's really not his lucky day. ]
III.
[ Naruto's hands kind of itch when he can't be useful, and in a setting like this where everyone has a purpose and a job to do and knows exactly where they are and where they need to be, and seems to be taking on too much all at the same time, his hands are itching more than ever. As he watches the nurses and the doctors work their magic, he's reminded of Sakura and Tsunade back at home, how harried but focused they each looked while spreading their palms over wounded shinobi, healing them with a concentration Naruto could only immitate, never replicate.
He chews on his cheek while he watches, because he understands. Every one of these doctors needs help, but for once he doesn't have help to give, and he's stuck leaning against the wall of a rare sliver of uninhabited space, watching on with a kind of helpless expression.
That said, if he sees anyone with a problem that's perhaps small enough for him to assist with - you need something carried, want some company, maybe a drink or someone to put some pressure on your bleeding wound??? - he'll jump on the opportunity with a warm but intense kind of insistence, desperate for the purpose or perhaps just the company. ]

II b.
That is, until he spots a familiar mess of blond hair. He hears the rattling return of the coins and cocks his head a little to one side, observing the progression of Naruto's attempts to work with the vending machine only to get his money back. Deciding he might want a hand, Haise crosses the room and halts at the young ninja's side]
Vending machine giving you trouble? [He asks, only to add-] Sometimes, they're finicky machines...happens to everybody.

julius visconti | ota
Whenever someone passes by he lowers his head and avoids eye contact. This routine keeps up until he recognizes a person from their team. Carefully, he'll grab a passerby on the arm and whisper closely: ]
Hey, do you have a minute? I want to get inside the office. I'll need your help to do it.
Are you in?
[It's not really safe for him to sneak in alone. He'll need a partner in crime.]
2. [WILDCARD YO]

[She'll pop into a bathroom and use that privacy to activate Mirror, Telling Mirror to wait a few minutes before heading out and to help Julius search the nurse's station for any information while Sakura herself could keep an eye out.
Once she emerges again, she explains to Julius.]
Mirror can help you. I told her to, and I'll keep a lookout if someone is about to go in and find you in there?

LUCINA
...It isn't a very convincing performance, both of them far too stiff to go unscripted for very long, but fortunately there's more than enough of a bustle that their terrible acting goes unnoticed. It's quick through the hospital doors, then to a secluded hallway... They'll take it one tiny hurdle at a time...
(In a very obvious, very conspiratorial whisper,) ] Where should we start?

Sakura Kinomoto l Cardcaptor Sakura
[Sakura can be found wandering, looking both curious and fretful as she does, excusing herself if she bumps into anyone amid the crowded areas of the hospital. If she sees someone about to be caught doing something they shouldn't, she'll try to provide a distraction. Or ask if she could help somehow, if it isn't such risky timing.
Or otherwise, keeping an eye from a distance on the nurse's office where she has her Mirror card active and poking around. So if she notices anyone about to go in there that isn't a recruit with ALASTAIR, she'll panic.
Cue the flailing and stammering.]
H-hoeeeee?!
[What should she say? What should she do? Could she dismiss Mirror in time? No, this is...this is too public.
Help?]

It seems like there's someone going into the office... huh. Time to make a genjustu and make the person forget why they wanted to go in the room in the first place.

And not spy-weird. Not like, oh, he's weird because he's out of time and space, just like me, I bet we both got gang-pressed into saving a bunch of weird worlds whether you like it or not. But weird like . . . familiar-weird. Like he's seen him before. And yet Polnareff is almost positive he hasn't. Certainly he isn't an old schoolmate or neighbor, not acting like this. And he absolutely remembers every enemy Stand user they went up again, so it's probably not that . . .
The thought of it nags at him. But the guy seems pretty amiable either way, and frankly Polnareff is looking for someone amiable (who won't tell him that he ends up working for some Italian man who hasn't even shown up yet). Shoving his hands in his pockets, he makes his way over to where the guy is straight up shaking the machine like it owes him money. Or a soda, apparently.]
You need help or something?
[(Actually, he's been thinking of trying to sneak in, but he needs help. And this guy might just be his ticket in, if he can convince him to stop focusing on the soda long enough to help).]

[ this is what Loki was made for: breaking and entering.
it didn't matter where, and it didn't matter how, all that mattered was that there were schemes to weave and missions to take on. it took his mind off of everything else, the cackling laughter of King Loki, his exile from Asgard, and even the other self that seemed to accompany them on this trip. the plan had been set into motion and had been simple: leave Dany to scream into the loudspeaker, causing a mass panic away from the toxicology ward, then utilize Anakin to "arrest" (emphasis on the quotes) them if the need arose. the chaos was easy to cause, the disguise part was the more difficult part.
well, difficult for most, not really difficult for three gods.
Loki leans over three doctors, all passed out from knocks over the head. they're tucked away in an empty room, watching for any signs of those that may find themselves curious in the panic. none of the doctors stir, and Loki looms over them with a sort of playful pride. ]
It's too bad that I can't try on the white coat. [ there was no need, not with the illusions that the three of them could cast. ] Doing it this way makes me feel like I'm cheating.
[ but he doesn't feel bad about it enough not to cheat. ]
Re: Closed.
[ Or Loki could do it for you. And he does, with the slightest nudge of magic over towards his other-self, so that a neat white coat falls over his clothes.
As for himself, he's crouching down beside one of the doctors, rifling through his pockets in hopes of something interesting to find. ]

The next step is trickier. Where does he go from here? Was there anywhere in this town safe for him to isolate himself in?
He's distracted, considering that on top of his escape route. It's probably why he doesn't see Asher coming. ]
Closed to Urahara
Nyuu's notes did well to keep her updated on the mission, so it's not like Lucy didn't know that Urahara worked at the hospital. She could have asked for his help in infiltrating the hospital, but being the stubborn girl that she was, she preferred to handle everything on her own. It was something she was more used to than all the offers of help she's received from Audentes.
Judging by how her bag was bulging, it seemed like Lucy just went and grabbed anything from the hospital, though the bulk of it was papers she swiped, both with her physical and psychic hands. It thumps against the kitchen table as she sets it down, giving her shoulder a break.]

Lucy-san? [he yawns as he steps out into the hallway.] Were you just at the hospital?
[or maybe that clinging antiseptic smell is starting to permeate the entire apartment because of him, solely.]
