[ Her first day back is spent elsewhere, but she's quick to ensure she sends a message to her closer friends. Stiles is, without a doubt, one of those people and she's eager to see him again after her time away. Partly because she missed him, of course, but also so she can tell him all about her adventures saving a child from a demon summoning ritual... because that is definitely something to be excited about. Of course it is.

There are plenty of things to do around the city, but rather than try and take away Stiles' time from his best friend now that he's there, she asks if she can join them somewhere instead. The skating rink sounds like a fun idea, even if it has been a while for her, but she's more than happy to go anywhere right then anyway.

Normally she would be early, but she hasn't had the same amount of time to get used to the area, so she ends up getting there a little after them. Either way, Stiles won't get much warning before she's walking faster, reaching up to latch on and hug onto him in greeting. ]

A-yo. [ What kind of slang is this... though at least her voice softens after, a lot more genuine in how she murmurs softly: ] I missed you. [ It's easier to voice after being away anyway. ]

[ It's been a couple of days since her and Nami regrouped with Audentes in Leramzen. Honestly, they've had to be careful, but considering they arrived later it just looks like 2 friends who arranged to meet up in a good city... and dragged a cute boy to stay with them for the night??? Whatever. Sonia has taken it upon herself to sneak alcohol into the room along with glasses, she bought a few snacks like chocolate and sweets, the fake tattoos are on the bed in the hotel room and she's already in her pyjamas for the night by the time either of them should make it to her room.

When she opens the door it's with a wide smile, followed by a hug. Clearly her time away has been good to her--but the hallway is cool so she's quick to usher them inside. ]

Please, come on in.

[ Rather than having the main light on, she's put her fairy lights into the socket and has a smaller lamp on so it isn't as bright in the room - just like a true party. "Party". ]

[ to be honest, if Sonia had said she wanted to go to the modern art museum to stare at paintings and talk about the deep emotional significance of red splotches of paint on canvas, Stiles probably would have agreed. it's lucky for all of them that the skating rink is closer, and that him and Scott were going to try it out anyway, so that's their designated meeting spot.

it's probably a testament to how close they've gotten, in the end, that Stiles actually feels a little strange, Sonia not getting there before them, but he doesn't mind — especially as they don't have to wait long. as they do, though, he's quick to explain to Scott that Sonia's a good friend who's been away on a mission, the details about they sometimes get separate missions with different teams if their special talents are needed.

his explanation is cut short by a blur of bright blonde hair and arms wrapping around him, though he's equally quick to hug her back, lifting her up with a grin and a response of ] Good to have you back, I missed you too.

[ as he sets her back down, he turns to look at Scott. ] You guys have met, right? [ he's like 98% sure he said something about running into a girl who was really excited about meeting him... ]

[Of all the people that Scott met right away, Sonia seemed to be the most intimately familiar with Stiles off the back. A few allusions to their world had clued her in about their friendship, and Stiles seemed to be far more positive about what he had to say about her in contrast to what he had to say about, well, Peter. His emotions were less complicated, less about the picture of anxiety. It said a lot. Scott's impression of Sonia had been that they were close, that Stiles trusted her—

So when the hug happens, the greeting happens, he finds himself smiling easily. It is odd to feel like he's missed some part of his best friend's life. And it's odd that it's been such a large chunk of it. But then, Stiles has also missed parts of Scott's life, and it feels like every conversation they have involves filling the other in.]

Yeah, by the squidges. She helped me a lot with those little guys. [Because, well, of course Scott would be helping tiny alien blobs.] It's good to see you again, Sonia. [He extends his hand to her in greeting, since they're not really on hugging terms yet (as ... far as he knows ...).]

[ She probably would enjoy that too, honestly. It's peaceful and quiet, and while her mission away from the team hadn't been loud (more of a mentally draining, logical mission than boom boom bombs away anyway) ice skating sounds a lot more fun.

She makes a surprised noise as she's lifted, but it's a little less surprising than when she'd been spun around like the previous day. Once she's set down she takes a step back to breathe, definitely smiling because it is nice to be back. ]

Of course. Though I am not sure how much help I was at the time... I was being quite stubborn. [ It's only being away and reflecting that made her realise that though. ]

Though it is good to see you again, too.

[ As far as he knows, but considering he's super close to Stiles it's amazing how quickly he'll get bumped up here. She doesn't dive onto him like she had with Stiles of course, but she does give him a light hug in greeting rather than a handshake. ]

he grins as Sonia gives Scott a hug — it's good to see them getting along and all, not that...he ever had any doubts, mostly because who doesn't Scott get along with? frankly it's rather the opposite problem, Scott getting along with too many people Stiles would prefer he stay away from.

at her suggestion, Stiles scratches his cheek. ] Sure. Just... how good are you at skating? Because, uh. We kinda suck. [ a glance at Scott, to see if he's maybe gained some amazing skating abilities in the time they've been apart... who knows, it could happen. ]

Hey, I might be better. I've had some time to get good at it. [Wonderful werewolf reflexes don't really matter if you're just really bad at a particular thing, as it turns out. He's much better at hitting the ice with boots on rather than skates, but that's beside the point.]

But if I fall, don't worry about me. Stiles is a little more fragile. [Scott says this in a good-natured tone, even if he's making fun of his friend. A little. But he likes Stiles the way he is. That's why he's not a werewolf yet, as that's been tabled countless times before.]
