[It had taken an excessive amount of time to locate a horse willing to tolerate the aura Kylo Ren exuded, but now that he knew how long the walk was, he wasn't about to attempt to make it completely on foot. In fact, its quite a scene, watching the majority of horses trot away the moment he gets near any of them. Some of them rear backwards to ward him away.

There is a very tense moment where he looks like he might just start chasing them around the enclosure. He stands stiff and straight at one end of the pen, jaw clenched, staring at the herd of frightened animals.

If you happen to catch him after this episode, you might find that he eventually manages to find a horse that doesn't simply refuse his presence on principal. It will also become apparent that he doesn't actually know how to ride a horse -- or any animal, really. He holds the reins too tight, and eventually, his horse simply...stops walking.

[With the beast felled, Kylo Ren spends some time tracking down his horse again. After all, it had taken ages to find one that would tolerate him -- he isn't about to abandon it after all of that work.

The bracers he had purchased came in handy, as it turned out. He's covered in some unsavory animal blood, staining his clothes and some of his face. Its unclear if there is a wound somewhere under all of that black hair on his head, but there are definitely remains of claw and bite marks ripped through his robes. He'd gotten too close to several of the engagements.

All of that said, he somehow looks better than he had when he'd started the journey with the rest of the group. His lightsaber had remained tucked away in its pack, and he hadn't needed it with the abundance of archers among them. As well, he takes Youmi's advice and plucks several feathers (not just one, because he's greedy) and can be found tying a piece of string around their stems.]

Never a dull moment, wouldn't you agree?

[Kylo Ren takes the opportunity to change clothes once they finally arrive, donning the darker black and striped robes to hide the remains of their (slightly) rough journey to the Flowerlands. It won't be difficult to catch him before he does, but he was not looking to stand around covered in blood and sweat when they were about to be negotiating for an end to the conflict.

Once he is changed, he sets to mingling. After all, it had been some time since he'd seen several of his colleagues, and he's eager to know of what had occurred behind the gates of the Celestial Mountain. Of course, even Kylo Ren can see that the journey had some bumps as their own had, so he doesn't press too hard on the details.]

I will be happy to see all of this come to an end.
