[closed] He said you can go sleep at home tonight
CHARACTERS: Kojuro and Masamune
DATE: After the infestation is over
WARNINGS: Probably some swearing, idk
SUMMARY: Temporal hangovers suck.
[When Kojuro wakes up as himself again, it's with a feeling not unlike that of a hangover - slightly less headache, but the same sort of slightly muddled memories. Fighting with someone who he know realizes was Motochika, Sieglinde's advances, that somewhat embarassing display of emotion in front of Chihiro....]
Gods.
[He would really like to believe that all those memories were a very long, vivid dream, but they feel too real for that. And given the strangeness of this place, and the problems the temporal bugs were causing... it's entirely possible he's spent the last week having a second go at being fifteen. Without much more success than the first time around.
He gets up and dresses, considering who he should talk to first. Masamune is the clear answer, there. Then he can deal with the rest of this mess.]

[ Kojuro knows when there's no use—!
For all the options on this position he has, Masamune merely leans forward to hug onto his retainer, letting his head drop down to flop against the older man's shoulder. He is usually able to freely speak his feelings to the other, but the young Date lord finds it far easier to keep quite rather than muster the energy.
Regardless, for all his lack of words, it's not hard for Kojuro to figure it out at all.
I missed you, don't leave me like that again.
But, even if he were feeling up to saying it, he knows too well that's asking far too much when Kojuro has no control of it (even though he wants him to be able to).
Above all else, though:
I'm really happy you're back. ]

[Honestly, given the last few days, Kojuro is fine with just this physical closeness - something more tiring would be a bit much.
After a few moments of pleasant silence, arms wrapped loosely around Masamune's back, he finally speaks again]
I'm sorry. [sorry for being gone, he means, as if it were his fault - but it seems necessary to say, to affirm out loud that he'd never leave if he could help it]
