Sabo - Clear the way

[It was a match-up that came as a result of being in the same area at the same time, and Sabo had been quite a gentleman while Yaoyorozu had been in the middle of figuring out who to ask to go on this trip with. It's not as those she didn't have options, simply that she thought that if she could find someone whose ability matched up with hers for the situation, it would be easier.

But, she wouldn't have said no to someone who willingly offered.

So as it stood, Yaoyorozu and Sabo finds themselves in the Boneyard Junction, with Yaoyorozu examining the ground that had collapsed recently, indicating the large sinkhole that they couldn't have missed even if they wanted to.]

The ground looks like it sunk recently. We should be careful then.

[ryusoken]

Yeah... whoa. [He almost made a trip into the sinkhole there, his foot nearing where he could've fell. Sabo was content on doing this mission when he had offered to come with Momo. He wasn't unkind to most others... especially if they're on good terms. So, he figures it wouldn't hurt to ask for another hand, even from someone had met not too long ago.]

That's one pretty steep hole. [He whistles into it, creating an echo.] You'd think there'd be a way to fill it? Fire's not exactly solid...

[He takes out his pipe and clanks around the edges. A little debris fell as he does so.]
There's gotta be some way to solve this..

[The hole is extremely deep, as far as she can tell. She can't even see the bottom, and while covering it up seems like an option, she worries about people using it as a daring experience that might cause more problems.]

... No, not with the depth of this one, the most we can do is probably block it off.

[After all, they'll waste too much time just trying to fill it up. If they even begin, she wouldn't know when they can end. Instead, she pulls away, deciding to work on just placing something around its perimeter.]

Perhaps a fence then?

A fence might be possible, as long as we can find some materials.

[Usually, Sabo would be pretty daring falling there.. but they're on a mission to save people.. not take risks into seeing where holes might be. He's pretty focused on making sure the people here are safe as much as Momo is, peering over the object Momo had placed around the hole.]

Though there isn't much.. aside from the rocks, though we could crack some of the wall open... [He steps back a little, and turning around.. he knocks on the surrounding wall. Thankfully they're not too nearly on edge between the ground but it's still enough to be careful to watch one's step.]

Oh, that's no problem at all.

[She says, without even batting an eye as she pulls her coat open, something she's learned to practically master with very little issue. She knows that Ban has told her several times not to overexert herself, but she can't help it. It was a good opportunity to push her limits as well, in order to improve.]

If you could help me find posts, it'll be faster, but I can work on the wires.

[In fact, don't mind her as she starts pulling her coat open, away from him, and spewing out coils of barbed wire from her chest.]

[I'm sorry Momo.. he probably does mind.. like he hasn't seen a woman, you know just stripping open herself and pulling out wire from her body. That is just??? Weird?? His eyes widen as he sees the sight of this like.. uhh UHHHHH??]

H-.. How?

[And he thinks it's pretty acceptable to be made of fire. He shakes his head trying not to be distracted by the woman.. like she had a magic trick going.. except instead of pigeons.. they were wires just streaming out of her.]

I'll do that... [As he slowly turns his head to look for any material that would be suitable for the wiring..] I'm sure there's an area that might have some in these cave ins..[After all, they're inside of a mine..]

[she doesn't seem to mind the surprise, too used to it now after months of people getting surprised by it.]

I'm able to create things as long as I know their composition. It should be fine with this length.

[as soon as she's done, she clasps her coat close, adjusting it and smoothing it down before turning to him.]

It looks.. pretty good. [He looks back, whistling at the wiring material that's being adjusted by Momo for fencing around the hole.]

That sounds like you can create just about anything. [Placing a hand over his chin and leaning over Momo.] Does that include any elements... or just solid material?

It's not that simple.

[Because if it were, then she wouldn't study it as hard as she does. She finds creating things fascinating, understanding their composition and structure like an old friend and a new discovery, something that was hers alone.]

I can't create living things, and rather than that, what I need to know is the structure of what I am creating, rather than have a limit of what I am actually creating. Solid objects are easier for that reason, as I'm not skilled enough quite yet.

Arima - Somebody Poisoned the Water Hole

[It was a field that Yaoyorozu was very familiar with, especially when it came to the composition of materials and how they can be formed or destroyed. She was close enough to it that they had allowed her to work on the research, but testing it proved to be a challenge in itself.

First, after all, they needed samples of the water supply. Then, they needed to take samples of the damaged crop. Organic materials can come later, but she didn't think she could do it alone. So in this case, she had asked Arima to come along, as he seemed to be capable enough to help her in her studies. The rewards weren't something she was after, really, but more of the items themselves.

It is how the two of them find themselves in the farms, gathering materials for testing.]

Thank you again for helping me out. I apologize if the work is less than ideal, but... it would be really beneficial.

[ This really isn't even in the realm of his typical job type, but Arima figured it'd be a change of pace to work on something that didn't require killing once in awhile. He was free to do what he pleased here, no longer a tool to the CCG, so he make his own choices on matters like this. ]

There's no need for you to apologize. I chose to do this of my own will. It's different. I've never done anything like this before.

[ He can't say he isn't curious about all of this either. ]

Me neither, but I felt it would be a good learning experience.

[Arima seemed to be the type who was curious of things, at least, from their previous meeting. It couldn't hurt to at least address a shared sense of curiosity for the unknown in that case.]

I suppose that at least one container should be enough for the water, but I can't imagine how much crop we have to bring back.

[ They can learn together because this is way out of Arima's league. At least he's a fast learner?! ]

You're right about that. Hopefully it'll also be a less dangerous one then the previous experiences here thus far. [ He's joking about that, but also not?! ]

Let's bring back enough to have multiple samples available for use.

So maybe about three of each type? If we bring too many, we might risk getting sick from the contamination.

[And the last thing she wants is to get him sick due to her own carelessness. After all, he was simply dragged into this mission due to her own prodding.]

That seems like a good idea. It will at least give us a better understanding of the results as well.

[ Usually the sample size would be bigger, but they can't really risk getting poisoned here. ]

All right. Well then...

[She'll just offer him a bunch of ziplock bags for that, before gesturing towards their surroundings, to emphasize the farmland that they've finally approached.]

I'll take the right side, and you take the left. This way, we can cover more ground.

Very well. [ And he'll said bag with a silent nod before turning towards the left fields spread out before them. This was...oddly peaceful work compared to what he's normally used to doing. He takes to it rather quickly at least?! And with no complaints. Arima is pretty silent throughout most of it, he is not a big talker /sweats

Once he's done collecting whatever needs to he returns to where they started. ]

Haise - Medicinal Plant Gathering

[The mission seemed simple enough, and while the reward is unknown, Yaoyorozu was a fan of looking for materials-- even ones she can't create. After all, plants aren't within her scope, as they were alive, but in the interest of learning, she finds them fascinating.

Haise was a good choice for this, she thinks, and even approaches him with that thought in mind. He seemed very intelligent and a team player, and while she thinks that a battlefield is very suitable for him, this was one of the few moments where they could have a simple mission together.]

Mr. Haise!

[She waves at him, already at the entrance of the town, her bag ready and empty of non-essentials, so that she may be able to carry back as much as she can.]

[Finding out that Sieglinde had put up a bounty for medicinal plants, Haise is happy to be of assistance. She's taught him quite a bit about field medicine and now she's even trying to help him with a way to be able to eat normal food, so something like this is the least he can do in return.

It helps, of course, that the person who asks him along for the job is Momo. He's appreciated working with her since her arrival in Oska, knowing her to be a responsible and thoughtful girl.

So when he spots her, his own pack slung over his shoulder, he waves in return with a smile on his face]

It's all right. Thank you again for agreeing to come with me.

[She offers a polite bow, shifting her backpack as she waits for him to arrive by her side. She doesn't immediately move to the exit, towards their destination, and simply stands them until he arrives.]

I hope I haven't caused you trouble in your busy schedule. It's my first time to do this.

It's no trouble at all. Actually, during the last mission, I took on a job like this.

[He doesn't take long to close distance, coming to a halt just an arm's length away from her. The weather's pretty nice today, so far as desert planets go, and he takes a moment simply to appreciate that much.

Besides, I hadn't noticed Sieglinde put in a request.

Oh! That makes it a lot better then.

[She seems relieved at least, having been worried about troubling him over her decision to choose him. However, if he has experience, then that made him the perfect candidate, and she's glad she chose correctly from there.

At the mention of the name however, there's a bit of surprise in her features.]

[Haise nods, smile turning fond because Sieglinde's among those he's gotten to know best here. And he thinks very highly of her]

I do. In fact, I've learned a great deal from her since my recruitment.

[Ah yes, his thirteen-year-old senpai]

Then I suppose that's a better reason to do well in this.

[And with that, she starts to gesture towards the exit. She seems eager, ready to begin, but when is she not? It's still a way to measure her skills as an aspiring hero, after all.]

It won't do to bring back poor results now, right? Shall we?

[Haise gestures for her to go on ahead, falling into step behind her. In truth, he is pretty curious about what sort of plants they might find in a world like this, especially since it's been mined so heavily.

How would they differ from the plants of Zeta-12, a planet that seemed untouched?]
