[As promised, Julius can be found at the garden. He did want Reika and Sakura to meet up at some point. Besides, Sakura's always been the friendly sort. He doesn't think their meeting will go badly.

For now, he's just waiting the two to show up. He's patient and he's got a lot of free time. His expression is stoic, but relaxed. Thing will go wrong, right? ]

[ From the names, they seem like cards that let her perform an action rather than taking the shape of a spirit like Flower. ]

Yeah. Plus, we don't just have to fight. Cards like Flower can cheer people up, too.

[ She's had to take care of her friends' physical as well as mental health, so she knows how important a person's mood is. ]

We're going out there to help people. Not every problem has to be solved by fighting. I hope the worlds we have to save can be happy, too.

We're here to help others, but we must also care for ourselves. I know our missions weren't meant to be easy. [It never is easy is it? Sakura and Reika have been through their share of hardships. From here it'll only continue which is why he's saying this.]

If we work together than we should be able to overcome it. I'm counting on both of you.

Yes. Morale is important too, and I don't always end up fighting, using the cards offensively. More often I'm helping heal, or defend, or supporting others, really. But I'll do my best!

[Sakura says, nodding in agreement. Julius saying they needed to look after themselves too isn't new, it's something Ban and Graham have been trying to drill her on in her reckless, stubborn selflessness in pushing herself to help everyone else with the missions.]

[ A child like her should never be allowed to put her life on the line, especially when they're considering the frontlines for battle. A support role sounds much, much more reasonable. ]

[ Again, if she wasn't, then Reika doubts Julius would have taken note of her. ]

Right... [ It's a slightly awkward meeting given how she's just lining up questions to ask and take note of: ] Do you get tired if you use too many cards at once?

[ She has to take note of the girl's limitations so they can be covered. ]

Surely you haven't been exerting yourself by using magic like this, have you?

[He gives Sakura a curious stare. Julius would feel horrible if she's been overdoing it this entire time. ]

Tired? Ah, not as much as I used to. I got exhausted when I first changed the cards from working from Clow-san's magic to my own. I don't get as tired now though, unless I use them a lot.

[Which well, can be the case on missions, but still not enough to knock her out for a day like when she was first changing the cards at least. To work as Sakura cards under her own magic power.

Graham and Ban at the least could probably attest to her pushing herself still though.]

[ So she's had to change the cards to her own? That seems like complex magic, but this is hardly the time to be asking questions. ]

Don't push yourself, okay? If you need help with anything, we're here.

[ Sakura should already know that Julius is very proficient at fighting. Reika is at about the same level. ]

You worked hard in order to gain more magic proficiency.

That's something you can be proud of. I'm still trying to grasp basic understanding of magic myself.

[It's not easy. Ever since he gained ALASTAIR based healing he understands just how troubling it is to train a spell. ]

Y-yes. I know, everyone at ALASTAIR has been helping. I didn't think I'd learn more since changing the cards, but here I can heal too. Which is different, so I took a little to get used to that too. But I'm trying to figure my limits while doing my best, so. All of us are.

[She grips the staff in her eagerness, before taking a breath and dismissing the cards, pocketing them and changing the staff back to it's usual, much smaller necklace.]

[ She knows Julius had healing abilities. It's always good to have more people who can do it, just in case. ]

How did you get your healing magic, Sakura-chan? Was it from ALASTAIR?

Yes, sometimes ALASTAIR administers a variety of abilities to us.

It's not completely unheard of to receive magic that way. Right, Sakura?

[At least healing abilities will help them survive longer on harder missions. It's nice that they have some way of recovering from injuries without burdening other healers. ]

Y-yes. It's one ALASTAIR gave me. I couldn't use the cards to heal. And it gives me another way to help out. I'm not the only one who got magic from them either, others have as well.

[She explains, clasping her hands sort of together in front of her at the fingertips, rocking on the heels of her boots.]

[ It's a good thing that their organization provisions them with abilities, but it also means she has to work hard to gain them. It's not something that's alien to her, though. ]

That's lovely. Hopefully I can earn one too.

[ But anyway. These are all practical questions and it might be a little boring to continue asking them. ]

Tell me about yourself, if it's okay? I'd like to know you better.

[ It might be a bit awkward since she doesn't have too much experience with younger children (Erina hardly counts), but she's very sincere. ]

In due time you maybe able to receive magic yourself. It's quite handy.

If I recall, Sakura's from Japan just like Reika over here.

[He's from Italy, but he does understand Japanese to some extent. Reika and Sakura have a lot in common. It's hard to miss out on. ]

About me? Ah, well...like Julius-san said, I'm from Japan. Tomoeda, actually. I didn't have the biggest family, just me and my older brother, Touya-nii-san, and my dad. My mum passed when I was really little. I guess I lived a pretty normal life with school and cheerleading and spending time with my friends, up until I found Clow-san's book in the basement, with the cards in. That's when I met Kero-chan, the Guardian of the Seal on the book that I managed to open. And....um, let the cards get away when I accidentally activated Windy. But I managed to figure getting them back, with Kero-chan's help. Syaoran-kun and Tomoyo-chan too! That's all kind of a long story.

[Especially once Eriol showed up and all. That was when things got more complicated.]

[ She still has a good family even though her mother was gone. That's a privilege neither Julius nor Reika had, but it doesn't mean they'll complain about it. If anything, she's happier to hear that Sakura has people supporting her. ]

It sounds like an incredible adventure. You're a really strong girl.

[ Which would explain all the magic. It's like she's living the magical girl dream, except it's real. ]

She really has been through a lot. At such a young age too.

Sakura will only continue to grow along side the rest of us. Remember to keep an open mind, okay?

[She should keep the same growth level even into adult hood. Everyone's got a bright future here. Julius nods to himself, content. ]

Well, like I said, I had help. And I have help here too, with you two and everyone else with ALASTAIR and all.

[The age thing, well, it's typical for magical girls to be younger, and she didn't have any control over when she found the book, it all just sort of happened. But it's true her age is what makes it both all the more impressive and in some instances in attempting to gather the cards, terrifying.]

[ At least she made it out safely. Child soldiers in their world might not. ]

That sounds good. [ Well, they've been on this topic of her magic for a while, and it hardly seems appropriate to drag it out. ] Do you have anything you'd like to ask me, Sakura-chan? I can tell you about myself.

[ She's bad at introductions so it's better to just ask what the girl wants to know. ]

It's only right that we keep helping each other. Otherwise, it'll be hard to manage on your own.

[He does remember that Sakura had a tough time adjusting when she first came here. Reika's more or less in the same position now. ]

Hm? Oh, um. So....how did you two meet? With the military? Or before that?

[She realizes it must be an adjustment. That she already knows a little from what Julius has told her but not necessarily from Reika's side of things. It could be fun, hearing more stories about Julius that he might not have told her already. But she does give a nod, agreeing with Julius' sentiment on helping each other.]

[ Reika casts Julius a glance, not quite sure of how much she should say. Maybe Sakura already knows some of what went on in their world, so she wouldn't have to explain that much. ]

Something like that. When I joined our unit, Julius trained me. He's my senior in that aspect.

[ He was Captain but she isn't sure if Sakura knows he left that position or not. ]

I was her teacher for sometime. Now it feels like that happened a while ago. [It really shouldn't.]

Time flies by, doesn't it? [Maybe being part of this group made time feel a bit faster for him.]

Oh! A teacher, I see. Like Kaho-sensei back home then. Ah, sort of, I guess training with the military might be different to school.

[Not that Kaho is with them anymore, having left for England with Eriol and the others. But even so, it's the closest sort of comparison she has, from her experiences.]

[ That much is true. They endured much trials, even if they did not go through them together. ]

I think the important part is making friends along the way. And having fun, of course.
