we're strong enough to let it all go
CHARACTERS: Sonia (
assent) and company
DATE: Mixed! I'll tag things accordingly inside
WARNINGS: Spoilers for Danganronpa 2 will be in some threads but I will try and mark those! Other than that there might be violence in places as she'll be on week 3 - early 6 of being infected in here. Funtimes...
SUMMARY: Using this as a means for visits and other things for February (1 backdated thing) and March. It's "open" in that I am down for wildcards + plotting for specific threads, though I don't have an OTA inside! Sonia's stuck in her house for quarantine while trying to do vaccine/cure things jazz hands

I'm good. Just give me a few moments.
[ This might get awkward really fast... ]
You could tell Sonia about the book I brought you?
no subject
Sonia, sometime would you care to join us? It's relaxing to spend time with friends that way as well.
[Nailed it. The awkward's going to go away soon...hopefully.]
no subject
Ah! Which novel is it? I would always be glad to join you, of course.
no subject
[ There's probably a copy lying around somewhere... ]
What sort of books do you like, Sonia?
no subject
I'd like to know your favorite books as well. [He does have a problem being social at times. Without Reika he'd be in so much trouble.]
no subject
[ What a lovely way to hang out with friends. Though... asking her that is probably a bad idea. Her eyes light up and she clasps her hands together. ]
Have you ever read American Psycho?
[ ...the truth comes out. ]
no subject
Ah, I haven't heard of it... what is it about?
[ At least she won't judge? ]
no subject
It sounds interesting.
[interesting is one way of putting it.]
no subject
It is about a serial killer.
[ Even if she wants to smile widely saying that, there's a little hesitation there as well, unsure of if Reika or Julius will regard that as Truly Very Strange for her to find interest in. ]
no subject
Well, as long as you find it interesting, I'm sure it'll be fun to read.
[ Sonia doesn't stab people? So that's okay. She does know other people with strange ('strange') interests as well. ]
no subject
Isn't that why you've taken interest in that particular book?
[Hopefully it is...]
no subject
[ um. ]
no subject
It is quite... stimulating, right? Safer to experience it in a book, I think. We didn't have a lot of that kind of stuff back home, though.
[ That's why Julius looks unsure. Totally! ]
no subject
I suppose what you're reading isn't suited for the young of age however. [They'd all get a heart attack.]
no subject
[ But not everyone is fearless as this weirdo. ]
no subject
[ It makes sense ok!! Yeah...... ]
ALMOST A MONTH LATER..jesus christ im sorry
Perhaps I should try reading it myself sometime. Sonia, do you have any personal recommendations?
[He won't judge her for her tastes, it's fine.]
sssh it's fine
[ She looks between them both, a little embarrassed now because they're making it sound normal when... no one at home really had. ]
My favourite is "American Psycho", if you find it sometime... it is a very good read.
no subject
No harm enjoying a good tale, I think. Is it set in America?
[ is america even real in GE? no one knows ]
no subject
It's a title that leaves you with questions, for sure.
no subject
Exactly! It is about a psychopath in America who has a perfect mask as a businessman, but kills people on the side.
no subject
Hm, it sounds like a thrilling murder mystery. [ reika no ] I hope there's a copy in Oska's library. I'd give it a try.
